FOLLOWING CHRIST

In their book, "The Insider", Peterson & Shamy write "But what about the rest of his disciples? For them, his instructions were more that opposite. After he cured the man possessed by multiple demons, he told him, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you." We somehow find the idea of dropping everything to follow Jesus more romantic than that of our taking him back home with us. But as a rule, we are called to follow him back into our own communities."
